Using FrameChannel with the Samsung SPF-72V Wireless Picture FrameThe Samsung SPF-72V is capable of working with your
FrameChannel account by cutting and pasting the RSS feed into the Samsung Management Tool. Step 1: Log in to your FrameChannel online account Go to your my Account page and select Feed Settings From the Frame Type drop down menu, select Samsung as your frame type Set your aspect ratio to 16:9 Step 2: Connect the frame to the Internet Using the arrow keys on the right hand side of the frame scroll down to the menu item labeled "Settings." Then click the enter button. Scroll down to the option Labeled "Wireless Network" and click enter. From there select your wireless router from the list and click Enter. If a password is required, it will ask you for the password which you can enter using the arrow keys. Step 3: Set-up your RSS feed Go back to the Settings menu and scroll down to where it says "Management Web Address." It will show an Internet address to the right of that (Example: http://10.0.1.1:5050). Type that into a web browser exactly as it is displayed on a computer that is connected to the same wireless router that your frame is connected to. It will ask you for a password. The password by default is "Admin" but your current password will be displayed on your frame under the settings menu. Keeping this browser window open, open a new browser window and log-into FrameChannel. Go to the My Account page in FrameChannel and select and copy the URL listed under "My Feed Address" in FrameChannel. Now return to the Samsung Management Application that you opened in the other browser window and paste the URL from your FrameChannel account into the entry field labeled "Photo Feeds" and then click the add button. Step 4: Start your slideshow Go back to the frame and click the back button the right side to go to the main menu. Select "Web Photos" then select "RSS and Web Feeds" -- you should now see your FrameChannel feed in the list. Select your feed and click enter. Your slideshow will start playing and will update every hour automatically. |
